Tasting Notes: Dark in color with aromas of cherry cola, plums and cassis with just a hint of bell pepper. The tannins are on the big side and the wine is well balanced. The finish is long and smooth.
Serve with red meats, especially grilled, such as rack of lamb, beef and game, aged and blue veined cheeses, pasta with hearty tomato based sauces, heavier fish dishes such as swordfish of halibut steaks, black olive tapenade.
