Tasting Notes: Aromas of black cherries, blackberries, cocoa and vanilla. The tannins are on the medium-high side, but not overly aggressive. The mouth feel is full and rich and the finish is medium in length and smooth.
Due to its tannin structure, it goes very well with fatty meats. Serve it with red meats such as lamb and grilled beef. It also goes well with pork, game, wild rice and mushrooms. Many people enjoy Cabernet with dark chocolate.
