Arizona winery tours at Alcantara Vineyards, near Sedona AZ. Be assured that there are excellent wines being made in Arizona, and sampling different wines is an important step to learning more about our wine! Not only will you learn a little something, but you'll have a fun time doing it at our winery tasting room.

During your tasting, we'll discuss the aroma, flavor, and color of each wine and you'll discover how important acidity is in the making of wine.

Our winery tasting rooms offer an easy going, comfortable experience. Alcantara winery overlooks our vineyards and the ancient cliffs of the Verde River. We will help you savor the moment! A little wine information is all you need to enjoy the nectar of the grape. We are now tasting Pinot Noir, Syrah, Mourvedre and Zinfandel.
 
Hours and Details

The tasting room is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The tasting fee is $8.00 per person, for 4 of our outstanding wines, this includes a take-home glass with an etched logo of Alcantara Vineyard.

Wine Tasting & Tour Information
Alcantara visitors are treated to Barbara's (Proprietress) enthusiasm as well as to a picturesque setting. Our tours guide you through the vineyard with information about trellising, irrigation, varietals and the philosophy of growing grapes. The tour lasts approximately 11/2 hours, depending on the number of guests and questions asked.

Winery tours are on Friday and Saturday @ 11:30am and other days by appointment, for groups of 5 or more. The cost of for a wine tour is $5.00. Be sure to check our wine harvest photos, so you'll be ready for next year.
